Williams Steel is a closely held corporation that has been in business since 1928.  Our Management Team of seven includes three licensed engineers.  Combined, this group has over 200 years of experience in the steel fabrication industry.

The company has 250,000 square feet of fabricating facilities with over 375 tons of overhead bridge crane capacity, allowing a production rate in excess of 1,400 tons per week. Our production team has extensive experience in fabricating and shipping heavy steel assemblies as wide as 28’, as long as 120’, and as heavy as 90,000 lbs. Williams Steel Company has shipped steel to nearly every state in the Union, including Oregon, Utah, California, New York and Florida.

Williams Steel is an AISC Certified Fabricator with an extensive Quality Assurance Program and two full-time AWS certified welding inspectors.

Approximately 70% of the sales volume is generated through design build projects. Our project management team, which includes six structural engineers, is heavily involved in the design strategies for these projects to ensure efficient, economical designs and timely deliveries.

The ability to accommodate fast-track schedules is greatly enhance through an in-house detailing department that includes nine SDS/2 3-D steel detailing workstations and BIM modeling capabilities.
